Automatic cold storage doors are three things bolted together: an insulated door, an operator that moves it, and the controls that decide when. Buy them separately and you get three separate warranties, with no single company on the hook when something breaks. We install and service them as one opening.

On a busy shift, someone has to remember to shut a manual door. An automatic door closes itself every time, whether anyone remembers to or not.

A tight seal comes from the panel, the gasket and the force that pulls it shut — not the motor. Same for RSNE custom swing and slide doors. If the motor won’t run, the control board fails, or the door falls out of sync, that’s a cold storage door repair, not a new door.

Can you automate an existing manual slider?
Often, yes, if the door and track are still in good shape — we add an operator and the controls to run it. If the door is too worn to save, we’ll say so; a motor won’t fix a worn-out door.
Which brands do you install?
We’re a certified Jamison installer, and we also install Frank Door, Hercules, Energy Door and other major power-door brands. We work on any power or manual cold storage door, no matter who made it — sliders, bi-parting doors and operators from every major maker.
Do automatic doors hold temperature as well as manual doors?
Yes, if it’s the right door for the room, hung right. The seal comes from the panels, the gaskets and the force that pulls it shut — not from being manual or motorized. And an automatic door closes itself every time — nothing to remember.
What does an automatic door cost?
Door size, the operator, and the controls all change the price, so we don’t publish numbers. Call us, and we’ll give you a budget quote on the phone.
Do you service automatic doors across New England?
Yes. We cover all of New England and New York from our shop in Lakeville, MA, and major projects take us nationwide. That includes the motor, the control board, and the controls — on doors we installed and doors we didn’t.
