The job
Built once, built right.
Black Hat Brew Works has been Bridgewater’s brewery since 2015 — brothers Paul and Scott Mulcahy started homebrewing in a shed in Norton, went pro on ‘Black Hat Friday,’ and built a taproom with a reputation for quality and consistency. Every keg, can, and case of it needs cold that holds.
When the brewery needed real cold storage, Paul priced the prefab route — the catalog kit you assemble yourself. Then he did the brewer’s math: his time belongs in the brewhouse, not bolting together a box outside his skill set, and a taproom’s reputation can’t ride on catalog seams. He decided to invest once, in a walk-in built right.
RSNE built the cooler custom to his space — insulated metal panels, an RSNE swing door from our Lakeville shop, diamond-plate protection where kegs live. Today it runs full: kegs on the floor, cases on the racking, cans to the ceiling. Paul brews. The box holds. That’s the whole arrangement.
More on what we build: walk-in coolers and freezers. Doors on this job: RSNE custom doors.
